David McDonald discusses the legal aspects of exercising freedom of assembly and freedom of speech on IU’s campus. The Expressive Activity Policy was changed at midnight the night before arrests without notification of those exercising their constitutional rights. The history of the Expressive Activity Policy is also discussed. He also recounts the scene of the Dunn Meadow arrests and the charges of criminal trespass.
